Creating A New Perspective

            Another year had passed... How fast time's running! I it already 2013 and in 2 months, I will be already facing a new challenge. Well, I better change my bad attitudes and characteristics right now to be ready for the worst, right? What really are my new years resolution?..

               Last year, I have been a lazy student and a naughty person. I rejected all my opportunities to do what I was supposed to do. I ignored all the consequences that might have helped me to be a better me. I thought didn't need anything but myself but then I was wrong. During the whole year, I have been very selfish in times of extreme pleasure. I didn't think of anyone but myself. Now that all of those rejected days had passed, all that I feel about it is regret. This year I will be a different person...

             What I have done wrong last year will not be done again. I will try my best to respond to all the opportunities that will come. I won't waste time as I did before. When I am needed, I will try my best to help and be all that I can to be as good as my parents want me to. Well, anyone can expect a change in me now. Sorry for the bad deeds I have done if that affected you...

Christmas Brings Love

          Every December 25, the people of the world celebrates the most glorious event of all, Christmas. Christmas reminds us the birth of our savior and the son of God, Jesus Christ. 

            

              During Christmas, what we usually do is give and receive gifts from one another. We believe that the  Christmas tree brings us good fortune and luck. Christmas is considered one of the happiest days of a year. During this day, we sing our carols, attend late-night masses and prepare foods of sorts. But what really is really its essence? Its Love.

            

              Christmas brings us the feeling that God is with us. We give more gifts than we receive for we know that its better to give. In Christmas giving presents like toys and clothes doesn't matter at all. Though you have no presents to share as long as you give love, it is what that really matters. Love is the only thing that anyone rich or poor can give without any problem and in Christmas it is all we need to share.

Equality For All

          "All too, will bear in mind this sacred principle that though the will of the majority is in all cases to prevail, that will to be rightful must be reasonable; that the minority possess their equal rights, which equal law must protect, and to violate must be oppression."-Thomas Jefferson

          Both men and women must be of equality. Both are of the same creations of God who declared peace and love between. God had given the earth for both male and female to cherish, so its nature and treasures must be shared by them. Even the poorest of the poor ought to have his rights. Even the weakest of the weak deserves to be appraised and not to be discriminated.

          With equal rights between people, there is neither rich nor poor, strong nor weak. It must not be the gender or the state of living that is measured by the law. With equal rights, there will be hope, peace, love and understanding between others that can make a better nation without war and terrorism.

          Equal rights is all we need to be as one country. But before it is obtained, we must not back down and  always be brave to be what we ought to be and declare that we have the right to do what we ought to do.

Against the Wrath of Climate Change

          "Some people call it global warming; some people call it climate change. What is the difference?"- Frank Luntz

          Climate change has been a threat to us. Though we are all aware of what it may cause or bring, we still keep to developing it. We can't get off the fact that we, humans are the ones responsible for it to continue   to exist; though most of us can't admit it is. We know all its causes, its effects on us, but we don't know enough. We know nothing about the tragedy or all of the things it will be able to create. Since we are unaware of these, we must prevent and fight against it before it is to late.

          There is more to climate change than a weather change that we, mostly know. It more on being the cause of drought, floods and others which have killed many lives. It is a huge threat that is capable to end up generations if it is not prevented. Climate change is only the puny state of the change in weather. This state might also evolve into Global Warming. We may never know if in the future it'll happen.

             What if you are able to see the true wrath of climate change? What would you do? Would you just wait and let fate do what it is to do? Would you not be regretful that you are the one that let it to continue?

            The world haven't seen the greatest of it. We still have much time to fight against it. We must not wait for it to happen. Let's be what we must be and do what it takes. The future is still in our hands.

Hoping For Another

          Another grading have passed and now, I have learned another set of knowledge to remember. As I have said before, difficulties are hard to evade so this time, I encountered a lot of them while learning. The most memorable thing that I have experience this grading period is that I was teach by another persistent teacher that despite my behavior, was there to accompany me and all my other classmates. 

          What I learned this period is how to make an html document/file. I have learned how to edit a file (like to make it more presentable by putting "codes" and formats in it) and realized that this is a very important to learned by us, especially now that Blogging is a duty to do. 

         To make the html file, I learned that proper organizing and putting of formats are musts to make it work. There are types of font attributes that we have taken ( font size, font face, font color), all of which are also related on the html file editing.

         This grading period we had to make also these activities (exer1-7) using the notepad (this is also related to the html file editing). Before I thought that Notepad was just useless but then, when the use of it is taught to us, I can't agree more that it is indeed very useful. It is a code-editor that helps us edit html files. 

          Another grading period is done. For the next one, I am hoping to learn more. I can't wait to learn another set of lessons. I am hoping that in the next period amazing experiences can be done.

             Thank you for the time you shared with us Ma'am Melany Queyquep! We, the Martinelli students won't forget you, trust me. Thank you for the experience! Keep up what you do and may God bless you. 

Need to Be Good to Be Heard

            English is used all over the world. As the universal language, learning English language is a must for all of us. The benefits of it starts when it is used. Using is definitely learning. When we learn we get to be proficient. With the proficiency of it we get to be more competent. 

            English is very important to learn and to master. If you want to talk to people other that your fellow Filipino citizens, use English. If you want to understand other languages use English. And if you want to be heard all around the world by different countrymen, use English. Promoting English in our mind helps us learn more about it. The benefit of mastering it will be the ability to be understood by others. What I mean is that, if it isn't mastered by us, speaking with it will not be very effective for we won't make any sense. Why bother if we can't even make it understandable to others? Upholding English proficiency is what we must do to have a better communication to others.

             To be heard we need to be proficient in the language. We need to learn to be proficient in it to be make our communications understandable. We need to be proficient therefore we need to learn it. We need to be good in it because Upholding English Proficiency leads to Communicative Competence!

Science- Electricity!

        "Scientricity: Energizing Science Clubbers For Sustainable Energy," is this National Science Club Month's theme. With the aim to introduce to the students and teachers the sustainable energy and acquire them for its responsible use, The Philippine Society of Youth Science Clubs (PSYSC) proudly presents a September of energizing activities.

            From the theme itself, we can definitely get that the so called "sustainable energy" is none other than the ever useful, Electricity. As defined by dictionaries, is a fundamental form of energy observable in positive and negative forms that occurs naturally (as in lightning) or is produced (as in a generator) and that is expressed in terms of the movement and interaction of electrons. Taking its advantages, we can say that this energy is one of the most important and useful types.

             As used in every households which present lighting, and entertainment or media, Electricity can therefore serve as the main producer of energy. Electricity as widely used by households, gives also a wide variety of effects such as lightning, static electricity, electromagnetic induction and the flow of electrical current. These prove that such an energy is very useful to everybody.

            Such energy, therefore needs to be utilized responsibly. This needs to also be conserved efficiently for the next generation. As everybody know, not such thing last forever. So when, it, finally have its time to end, we won't be able to be as we are now.
